Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Arxum.com (“Arxum”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website. We are an independent trading education and research publisher. We do not offer brokerage services, hold client funds, or provide personalised financial advice. By using this site you agree to the practices described below.
Information we collect
We aim to collect as little personal information as possible. In general:
- Aggregated usage data. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used, for example which pages are popular and the general region visitors come from. This information is non-identifying and is not used to profile individuals.
- Information you submit voluntarily. If you leave a comment or review, or contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as a name or email address.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files stored by your browser that support analytics and remember basic preferences. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we do not ask for financial account details, payment information, or trading credentials. Never send us passwords or broker login details.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the website and its content.
- To understand, in aggregate, which articles and tools readers find useful.
- To respond to messages and comments you send us.
- To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and security threats.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Analytics
We use a standard third-party web analytics service, currently Google Analytics, to measure traffic in aggregate. It sets cookies and processes technical data such as your IP address on our behalf, which may be anonymised. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
Affiliate links and third parties
Some links on Arxum are affiliate links. If you click one and open an account with a broker or service, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When you click such a link you are taken to the third party’s own website, where their privacy policy and terms apply, not ours. We disclose affiliate relationships in the relevant articles. Read our Disclaimer for more on how affiliate relationships are handled.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. If you are in the EEA or UK, these rights are provided under the GDPR; if you are in California, under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Data retention and security
Aggregated analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider’s standard retention settings. Messages you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain records. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no website can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Arxum is intended for adults of legal trading age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
