How does it work?

Case Study: Obtaining Production Data from the Supplier

An international manufacturer of fashion products has already largely mastered the production of batch size 1 and requires the production data of the individual pieces, which are produced fully automatically by machine. Production takes place at over 100 small suppliers in Asia. According to previous technology, data transmission would take place via a separate VPN infrastructure, which would then have to be installed and operated at all suppliers. Instead, ARXUM transfers the process data for each product via an IoT device to a smart contract per machine. The brand owner simply collects the production data from the smart contracts into the company database. Effect: No costs for VPN infrastructure, setup and maintenance in the supplier factories. The supplier can also produce for different brands without these becoming accessible to the respective competitors. The data of different brand manufacturers are protected against mutual access.
